Sustainable Farming in Worthington, MA
Four Corners Farm grows a diverse variety of vegetables on 47 acres of land in Worthington, Massachusetts using sustainable practices to enrich soils. We sell directly to our customers via our farm stand. Our wholesale operation includes local stores and restaurants.
We aim to connect with community members who share our love of locally grown food. Our goal is to maintain the health of the soil through the use of sustainable practices in order to provide a reliable source of fresh, healthy, organically grown produce.
Our farm stand is currently located in the big red barn attached to the Worthington Inn Bed and Breakfast. Our farmstand season extends from May to late November/early December. Some of the produce we grow includes lettuce, asparagus, cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries, sweet corn, zucchini, carrots, beets, garlic, potatoes, peppers, winter squash, and pumpkins.
We have a lot of exciting new things happening on the farm. We are currently in the design phase of building a new barn that will house a new larger farmstand as well as a new larger wash/pack and storage area for the vegetables. We also plan to include a kitchen in the new barn so that we may offer a wider variety of goods at the stand for our customers. With the addition of the new barn we hope to be open year round within the next few years so that we can provide a reliable source of local produce and goods for the community all year, not just seasonally.
